What a great looking sandwich!<br />Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05827377708641041717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2564350625051702966.post-90279546952074210962014-08-15T19:03:35.798-07:002014-08-15T19:03:35.798-07:00When I lived in Union City, N.J. in the early 70&#...When I lived in Union City, N.J. in the early 70's and 80's there was a huge Cuban population there..I'm Puerto Rican..we used to get the Cuban Sandwiches for $2 now I've known a few older guys who own some of the restaurants and they always used a Cuban mojito sauce from a bottle and that they would squirt over the sandwich that already had the ingredients that you mentioned before ...sticking it into La Plancha which is that sandwich grill that flattens the sandwich...now in most Cuban restaurants that I have eaten in they've all used this on the sandwich which makes it taste even better on top of the mustard, swiss, and thinly sliced sour pickes, ham and lechon (pork)...The "mix" is simple you use Sour Orange Juice, with some oregano, salt, and minced garlic...(a bit of extra virgin olive oil is optional)...if you don't have any Sour Orange Juice use 1 part orange Juice, 1 part lemon, and 1 part lime...mix everything and let it sit at room temperature for about an hour..now you can put it in a blender if you make a lot, and put it in a squeeze bottle...and remember don't soak the sandwich with it just a little squeeze from end to end going through...and that's it...Logan49Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16595684229692372168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2564350625051702966.post-41436207182073433222011-04-30T22:34:38.170-07:002011-04-30T22:34:38.170-07:00Really looks delicious.
